Requirements in order to start your volunteer program
The process usually starts by you contacting us in order to find out what exactly your expectations and wishes are and which services you call for. If you decide to work with UBECI, we will need two passport size photos and we will ask you to pay US$80 registration fee. This money covers administration costs and part of it goes directly into our program.
Optional Services
If our volunteers need accommodation, Spanish classes or Airport Pickup we can help to coordinate these services at an additional cost. We offer different kinds of accommodation, such as living with local families, apartment rental or living in the UBECI volunteer house.
We offer these services so that our volunteers feel safe in our country, can adapt more easily and will not need to worry about organizing these services.
Down below are listed the costs of our optional services per month. Of course, you have the possibility to stay longer than that and can calculate the costs according to the time period you want to stay.

Accommodation
Homestay (lodging with a hostfamily, single room, 3 meals a day, laundry services) 4 weeks: US$ 420
Apartment (furnished, kitchen, living room, bathroom) 4 weeks: US$ 160
UBECI-Volunteer-House (living in the coordinaters house, single room, 3 meals a day, laundry services) 4 weeks: US$ 380
Spanish classes
The Spanish classes are one on one.
20 hours of Spanish classes: US$ 120
40 hours of Spanish classes: US$ 230
60 hours of Spanish classes: US$ 330
80 hours of Spanish classes: US$ 420
Airport Pickup: US$ 15
