UBECI not only has its own "School Support Program" and "Street Outreach Program" but also collaborates with other organizations. This gives the volunteers a wide range of different working options they can choose from. Moreover, volunteers not only can join the projects listed below but we always welcome personal initiatives and ideas from our volunteers. Depending on your abilities, we are open for the development of new projects.

We have for instance psychological and educational programs, which depend on whether we have the professional support from volunteers, who work or study in these fields. So, if you are looking for specific programs which might not be listed below, feel free to contact us and inform us about your own ideas and we might be able to develop a program corresponding to your personal abilities.

Our program:

School Support Program: teaching children at summer school and during the school year (minimum of commitment: 4 weeks)

• English Program: teaching English to children and adolescents (minimum of commitment: 8 weeks)
• Summer school: teaching and planning activities for the program: Art, Music, Paint, Math, English, Reading-writing and plays. (minimum of commitment: 4 weeks)
• Classes of School Reinforcement: Language, Orthography and Social Abilities. (minimum of commitment: 8 weeks)
• Classes of Human Values and chat of Health. (minimum of commitment: 8 weeks)

Street Outreach Program: playing and painting with children working or living in the streets and providing medical support and education for them. (minimum of commitment: 4 weeks)

Projects of other organizations:

• Day Care Program: collaborating and planning activities various subjects including pre-school math, writing, and reading, English, introduction to dance, art, include taking the children to eat and staying with them during they eat. (minimum of commitment: 10 weeks)
• Program for handicapped children: helping in a school with handicapped children in the fields of psychological supervision, assistant teacher, rehabilitation, music, P.E. or drama (minimum of commitment: 8 weeks)
• Diagnostic analysis and intervention with families; only possible for volunteers with a degree in psychology and a high level of Spanish knowledge (minimum of commitment: 16 weeks)
• Program for children of kindergarten age: helping in a private school with little financial support for kids from the middle class (minimum of commitment: 10 weeks)
• Social Worker: only possible for volunteer with at least two years of study in this field and with an intermediate or conversational Spanish knowledge (minimum of commitment: 12 weeks).
