Health Program

Lack of information and money means that many families do not receive adequate medical attention. Additionally, many will not see a physician because of the family's customs and culture. The UBECI encourages and finances families so they can receive medical attention and medical supplies.

Furthermore, a daily practice for all children involved in UBECI's schooling or Street Outreach Program is thoroughly washing hands with soap and brushing their teeth. Often the very concept of frequent hand washing is a revelation for the children.
